Hello, i`m working on a sheet metal part and want to add an edge flange to the model.

I want the edge flange to be longer then the edge i`m starting  from, but i get an error which says that the scetch line cannot lie beyond the selected edge.

Why is this, because i realy don`t see a problem doing this?

The part is not intersecting it`s self in flattend state eighter.

Is there any way i can add a flange that meets my need?
