what's the easiest way people have found to make numerous split lines on the same face?  I'm in 2007 so things might be easier with newer versions.

I'm running a transient simulation of a process so I need multiple faces to create the illusion of a part moving by letting the heat source move from one face to the next.  But creating dozens of split lines each with it's own sketch is annoyingly slow.

Is there any faster way?
