Hi Maybe some of you folks could help me out.

Description of the issue:

To design a tube with cheesecake cutout (Plastic Tube) to be compressible by 2 clamps. So in other words diameter of this tube will change when clamps (metal) are closer or further apart. The arc length will not change only diameter will be affected and cutout gap.

Task:

To measure how dimension on the bottom changes, so how what are the max. and min. values for cheesecake cutout opening considering. Take into account this is springy plastic tube which is under some initial pressure put by clamps. I tried to mate a sketch of plastic tube to clamps but it didn't work completely.
