I just recently was provided with a macbook Pro as my engineering computer, and am now running Solidworks using parallels as a virtual machine. One problem that I have seen is that when i roll my mouse over the model tree, dynamic highlight automatically starts to highlight the corresponding edges in the graphics window. Going to options>display/selections and checking the dynamic highlight box does not stop it from happening in the model tree window. It no longer highlights when i roll over it in the graphics window. If anybody else running solidworks in parallel for a macbook Pro has had this problem or knows how to fix it, please let me know. When i have a part with any sort of pattern or repeated features, it tries to highlight every single edge and won't let Solidworks proceed until it is done.
