I work at a steel manufacturing job shop with lasers. We often receive DXFs from customers with geometry that is drawn to the edge an unilateral tolerance. Example: 1" hole +0.0 -0.1; we receive a DXF with the hole at 1". If we catch it, we will redraw the hole to the middle of the tolerance 0.95". My question: Is there anyway to have Solidworks output the DXF in the middle of the tolerance? My current solution are to ask the customer to draw the model to the middle of the tolerance and override the dimension in the drawing or modify the DXF after creating it. Both solutions are prone to errors.
