Hopefully someone can help me with my question!

What results ca be obtained from a drop test? For example if I am dealing with a material that I expect to bounce back upwards could a result be obtained? i.e. The height the objected bounced?

I understand that the height that the drop is done from, the material it is dropping onto etc can be modified.

Currently developing a new product that might have this added edge to it if I could figure out the right material?
