Recently updated to SOLIDWORKS 2024 ever since my error will post the error "A driven or reference dimension is not selectable as the dependent variable of the equation" The main issue is that no driven dimension is referenced in any equation. This issue started immediately after the update as it appeared on an assembly that I was working on before the update, the error message did not appear before the update. I updated from SOLIDWORKS 2021 straight to 2024.
I have only experienced this issue in assemblies. I believe that I successfully traced it back to sketches having driven dimensions in the assemblies. However, none of those assemblies have had any of the driven dimensions referenced by something else as the error message would only appear after the update. I never saw this error message in any of these assemblies before I updated SOLIDWORKS on any of these assemblies. I have been using the same settings the entire time as I exported my setting shorty before the update and have used that setting export on the two different instances of SOLIDWORKS 2024.
The other fun thing is that this issue is only present for me not any of my coworkers. It also persisted between two separate computers. If anyone knows or has any Idea of why this issue would be localized to me your insight would be greatly appreciated, as this issue has be slowly driving me up a wall.
Below is a screen shot of one of the assemblies that gives me this issue with all the equations present in the equation manager shown. All my driven dimension are highlighted. I also checked the Parent/Child for the sketch that contains the driven dimensions and the only child of the sketch was itself.
