Drawings Pilot Class

Hi All,

The new Drawings course is close to completion!  To test out the new content and examples and gather your feedback, we will be hosting a pilot class in Eagan, MN, August 29th - 30th.

Attendees to this class will get a first look at the new course plus a chance to influence the material before it’s published.

What to expect

I will be presenting the new case studies to the class and asking for feedback.  The new course has 12 lessons of completely new material  (I’ve attached the Table of Contents for the new manual as it stands today. Note, some topics and most exercises are still being written).

We will not be taking time for reviewing Exercises, but a book will be provided to each attendee with all the completed material.

The course will be presented in SOLIDWORKS 2019. Attendees should bring a laptop with the latest available version installed.

As a group, we will be focusing on:

  • How do the examples present live in class?
    • Is there too much information?  Too little?
    • Does the workflow make sense?
  • Is there information missing from the course that should be included?
  • Is there information included that is not relevant?
  • What should the recommended course length be?

The class is posted on the VRC Training Schedule for registration.

Looking forward to collaborating with all of you!
