We manufacture machines having 25 or more sub-assemblies.

Now I want to make assembly drawings for each sub-assembly. My problem is if I insert views from sub-assembly models, the location of each sub-assembly with reference to other sub-assembly is not clear.

What I require is to show sub-assembly with mating sub-assemblies/components in dashdot. Moreover BOM and other custom properties should address only to that specific sub-assembly and not the surrounding sub-assemblies/components.

Now this issue has become very critcal for us.

Any suggestions please.
