Hi, I'm trying to save a drawing as a PDF. The sheet template was originally a DXF file (double clicked the DXF to import it), I have an isometric view of a sldasm file, a JPG image, and a number of annotations.

When I try to save the sldasm by itself in a standard A4 drawing, it works fine.

When I try to save the sldasm by itself in a standard A0 drawing at 1:1, it locks up for a few minutes but eventually saves & opens the PDF.

When I try to save the sldasm at 1:2 in the intended drawing, it locks up for a couple of minutes but eventually saves & opens the PDF.

However, when I then double the viewing size to 1:1 in the intended drawing, it locks up completely. It either crashes or eventually finishes "saving", however the PDF doesn't load automatically and when I try to load it from the explorer Adobe says it cannot be found.

I can only deduce that 1:1 in an A0 along with the JPEG etc is too much for Solidworks to handle, why is this? Is it doubling the load every time I double the viewing size within the drawing? Is there a way for me to fix this and still retain high quality?

I did a very similar drawing to this last year in the same format, the only difference is I've replaced one object (built from scratch as an sldprt/sldasm) with a new model that has been converted from a STEP file to a sldprt/sldasm.
