drawing fabricated welded handrail

Hi All,

I'd like to know the easiest method to draw simple handrail weldments.  From reading a few tutorials and stuff online, I guess either way the path needs to be sketched first, then you can either use swept boss/base or use structural member/tubing sizes to make this happen.  At my company, we make fabricated steel, and with handrail instead of using fittings at the joints, we'll usually just bend the tubing and miter/weld together.  Usually we use 1-1/4 sch40 up to maybe 2 sch40 pipe and that's it.  Suggestions are appreciated.  Thanks.
