Hi,

I have a broken-out section of a particular view.  I'm trying to dimension the diameter of a feature in the broken-out section, in which only one side of the diameter is present (I'm trying to get a leader line to point to the one side of the diameter, with the other pointing out into space).  Someone told me you can put the dimension in the original, complete view and then drag it into the broken out section, regardless of whether the feature is completely in view.  How do you do this?
