We do project engineering, we have a library of components that may get modified slightly for every project.  What this means is we prefer to have all parts in a project stand alone, with no ties to files in the Design Library.

To accomplish this with parts I just made templates out of all required.  This works well, just a ctrl N and save it to the correct folder and assemble as required.

Where it doesn't work is assemblies, I can store them in the EPDM vault and use copy tree (or pack and go) then assemble as required.  This works but what I really want is to be able to drag and drop the assembly and have the software prompt me to save the parts and assembly to new file names in the project folder.
