Does anyone else out there have the need to explode hatches?

I have been a Solidworks user since the release of version 95 and believe it gives "the best bang for the buck". Also worked with Autocad before switching to Solidworks. I am not a believer that everything Autocad should be incorporated into Solidworks, but there are some items that are a great help. Autocad will allow you to explode hatches. Then you are able to trim the hatch lines that might cover or cross over something that is in front of the hatch.

With SW you have to draw a closed bounding box or area around where you want the hatch to be. Not so hard or time consuming when it is just a simple boxed area, but when it has many twist and turns it takes quite some time.

Does anyone else think this would be a useful enhancement?
