I start with an assy which has extrude cuts or a wrap depicting (marking) "Company Name", "Part No" and "Ser No" they get assigned the color black (either at the part or assy level). When the assy is Defeatured and saved as a part the marking is still black. I save as a step file and open the step file the black color is gone and the marking is just an outline. So is this normal for Step files or am I doing something wrong.
