We just implemented EPDM and we have hundreds of files that have a odd rev (XX, - or are just blank)  We also have files that the rev doesn't match our ERP.

I created a transition in the workflow to update the rev and i use dispatch to prompt the user for the rev, then there is a automatic transition back.

My problem is that the revision doesn't show in the file history.  So if the file was at A, then i run thru the workflow to take it to D, the next time it changes it goes to B.

So my question is can dispatch right the rev variable to the file so the next time it goes thru a transision that inc the rev, it goes to the next rev?  (if that makes any sense)
