I'm finishing up a drawing of a power transmission design I've been working on and would like to add a symbol to notate the direction of rotation for the output shaft.  Is there anything within a library somewhere that works well once the drawing is saved in another format? (pdf, dwg, dxf, etc.)

Otherwise, what is the best route to make my own?  I evidently can't take a jpeg and convert it to have a transparent background; this results in something that looks great within SolidWorks but a solid black block once saved as a pdf or dwg.  I'd like to have something that can be saved for SolidWorks to be used for designs to come.
