This is with regard to the SW -best practices for Dimensionsing. Normally, it is told as Best Practice, to use the Dimensions from the Part model for dimensioning and not to create dumb dimensions in the drawing views. What difference does this make and why it is better to use the dimensions from the part model. Is this to avoid any erroneous dimension change in the drawing, resulting in the part getting changed? or is there any other better uses of this?
