Is this a 2016 bug or what? I don't recall ever having a problem with this before 2016. All I want to do is give the overall horizontal width here.

I select HORIZONTAL DIMENSION, hold down SHIFT, select the outer edges of the circles, and it will not drop the dimension. See attached.
