I'm using SWX 2010; When I select a dimension and press delete, the dimension is sometimes deleted, at other times (in the same drawing) a little icon pops up instead. I find myself bashing the delete key repeatedly to try to blow away unwanted dims. (Say I edit a part, removing features and leaving dangling dimensions, and have half a dozen that I just want gone.)
Can the little pop-up thing be turned off?
Related question; Often when adding dimensions, SWX assumes that I actually want to drag an existing dimension and attach it to something else. This happens when detailing and when sketching. Can this behavior be turned off? It seems like it would be nice to be able to toggle this; it's nice when you are actually trying to edit an existing dimension, but very annoying when you're trying to add more.
