So I have been using Inventor professionally for about five years now, and this has lead to me developing several habits. Primarily of concern right now is I would write a lot of math in my dimensions, and Inventor kept it there so I could use it for reference or easily change a variable. I actually found it quite jarring that SolidWorks solves and removes any math you do by default, as well as by default does not let you continuously reference other dimensions. Now I have figured out the way this functionality works in, SolidWorks, the magical = at the start of the dimension (as well as the small difference in syntax, going from (x) to "x"), but now I am wondering if there is a way to default dimensions to equation form so I don't have to press the = button every time I enter a dimension.
Still having a hard time understanding why the default is not 'constantly reference this dimension' when I go out of my way to click on it to include it in the current dimension. I do also understand that I am sort of making a mountain out of a molehill here but this tiny bit of efficiency matters to me.
