I found this while using Inventor and it was incredibly useful.  Is there a way, in SolidWorks, to designate an assembly as "Purchased" so none of its components show up in bills of material?  I know that once the BOM has been created, I can hide or turn off the components, but that relies on manual editing (might as well be chasing lines in AutoCAD).  Designating the assembly as purchased does it once and for all.
