Ok, we were having a friendly denbate about attaching cut sheets to the part model. as shown above.
The part is an imported Locating Pin from Misumi. There are (2) two images saved with each file, in JPG, GIF and PNG format.
GIF image file sizes are smaller, so the part with GIFs inserted has a smaller file size over the base imported model.
I was wondering if anyone else has used this method and if they experience any issues with compounded fiel sizes slowing down large assemblies, etc...
Pros, Cons, alternative methods (paperless get pluses!!)
