Dell 4600 i5 w/ATI M5950

Hi,

I was wondering what you folks thought of a mobile workstation that I am looking at. I currently started doing  contract/consulting work and need a portable workstation. I am by no means a power user - the assemblies I work on are at most a couple hundred components, and SolidWorks is only a portion of the work that I do. Due to very firm financial constraints I cannot spend more than \$2k out the door: I would like this to include some sort of extended warrannty, and less \$\$ is better (although much probably not possible). I'm sorry if this question is beat to death, but this is the first time I am doing this without the benefit of a company's IT department to help me out.

With the above constraints, do you think that this would be a reasonable/stable machine?

Thank you for your time and your insight.
