I inserted two part drawings from two separate files in to a new part file. Now i want to create core and cavity of both this components. Parting line required for this two cavity mold is at two different levels for the two cavities. However, while creating the parting line, when i select one cavity, Solidworks by default creates the same parting line for the second cavity also. It does not allow me to create my own parting line for the second cavity with a step in between the two cavities. Can someone please help?
