Hi everyone,

I’m having a really frustrating issue with decals in SolidWorks 2025. I apply several decals to my model and they look perfectly fine at first. However, after saving and reopening the file, all the decals are gone from the display — even though they still appear listed in the Decals section of the Appearance Manager.

If I close SolidWorks completely and open the model again, the decals show up, but they’re distorted or misplaced. I’ve tried everything I could think of — reapplying, changing mapping types, updating graphics settings — but nothing seems to fix it permanently.

For context, I never had this kind of instability in 2023 (it had its quirks, but decals behaved much better).

Has anyone else run into this problem in 2025, or found a reliable workaround?
