First of all, shame on you SW for creating such a terrible exam. The questions are indirect and the modeling practices are laughable as they do not comply with standard tool design.
To anyone that has taken the CSWP-MT exam, I am looking for a little clarification because I got one, (and only one) answer wrong and don't know why.
this pertains to the question where you are to correct some imported surface data and pull a mass from the resulting solid.
the question simply states to patch the surfaces, apply a material, and determine the mass.
simple enough right? well so I thought. My only guess is (rather than using a bisecting view to extrude the missing surface, trim and knit to solid) that they are looking for you to extrude the cylindrical profile and inner surfaces up to the highest tangent point of the cut-away section to make a flat top.
Here is what I initially came up with:
and here is what I think they may have actually wanted: (obviously this looks better, but again the question is pretty open-ended)
if anyone has experience with this specific exam or just some input to offer id love to hear it since I have a 30-day wait ahead of me now.
