I have to take large STL and STEP files and re-create a bom and full fabrication drawings which include individual component step files for laser processing.  This is the modern standard for outsourced fabrication for SpaceX and many others.   I have to import as a part and make some splits etc to make sure the bodies are divided as they should be, then "save Bodys" to get individual parts again.  The relating issue is, the top feature in a cut list item will drive the save bodies part file name.  If I rename a body, then the cut list decides or re-organize itself, all the names I need to use are all of the sudden unavailable.  We need to be able to access a list of stored names to delete un-used ones.  Excel for example has a name manager, where the hell is it in SolidWorks?
