I'm trying to hollow out a solid body using a surface body, but if I set it to keep the material outside the surface, it gives the "Failed due to geometric condition" error.

I tried finding the error, but had no luck thus far. If I try keeping the material inside the surface the command works. I also tried using the same surface body to cut a test solid body, which is a simple extruded body, and the operation works both ways with that, so I don't think the problem is with the surface body.

I thought the problem might be, that the surface and the solid parts had regions where they ended at the same point, so cutting it would create 0 thickness, so I offset those surfaces a little so they should cut holes at those regions, but it still doesn't work.

Does anybody have any ideas, what could be the problem?
