Just upgraded to sw 2009 sp2.1 from sw 2008.
Need help with the new custom property tab.
Previously in custom properties I used
PartNo \\\$PRP:"SW-File Name" in both parts and assemblies. In thetitle box on the drawing sheet I used \\\$PRPSHEET:{PartNo}. Thisautomaticially imported the file name as the drawing number.
In the new custom propeties the \\\$PRP:"SW-File Name" doesn'tevaluate. I get \\\$PRP:SW-File Name (note quotation marks nowremoved) as the output. Do esanyone know how to get this to work?
The Custom property tab does not update the file custom properties.i.e if I look
under File Properties Custom, the custom properties tab doesnt putthe information here. So this data does not get exported toPDMWorks on chechin. This is critical. How do I overcome this.
Would appreciate input on this
