I am pretty sure this topic has been dealt with a million times so I apologize in advance. However, here I go again😞 

This is my case studio. The first picture shows how the actual sheet metal part is. And the second is the flattened part I need to send to our laser cut machine.  As you can see, there is an emboss operation after the laser cut and before the brake press. This diameter must be respected in order to fit properly in the embossing die. Depending on the fan diameter we choose, there maybe more than one configuration. We would normally configure the sketch and fill the diameters D2 by hand.

My goal would be to "automate" - more precisely "standardize" - how we insert these values, so I am building a property tab builder file for this, like this:

How can I link the values in the sketch configuration to these properties ? I know there is a tab for configuration specific properties but I am lost, and preferably would like not to use them if I can avoid it.
