I am a newbie with the subject items.  My experience with "programming" is limited to the complexity involved setting up mildly complex equations to derive values to be dumped into a cell in MS Excel and then further using a lookup table to present the result in another cell elsewhere in the workbook.

Are there any resources available to me (as a non-programming individual), that will assist to educate myself in the very basics of "linking properties to notes"?

I need to create a new drawing format for a particular customer (we have been using a slightly modified version than was canned with SW), and have been able to import the AutoCad version of the format from one of the drafters.  This new format requires that the zones count upwards on all follow on sheets as they are added to a multi-page drawing.  In other words, zone F-8 on sheet one needs to be zone F-9 on sheet three, F-17 on sheet four, etc.  How to accomplish?

Likewise, numerous other "notes linked to properties" need to be inserted into the template, so I am looking for any assistance to help me learn how to use these features.
