Hi everyone,

I am having problems with all of my custom parts being treated as PLCs when I insert them into my drawings.

For example, I am adding a power supply that I am using in my project. I created the manufacturer part, the symbol and link the two. However, after I place the power supply in my scheme, under the Components tab the part is listed as a PLC instead of a component. I can get around this by first inserting a component, then inserting the symbol and linking the two, but then the label of the component doesn't follow the formula I have chosen.

So below, F1-PS1 is the result of me manually adding a component, then inserting a symbol into the drawing and pairing the two up.

When I try to just place in my power supply symbol I get the second entry, which has the labeling I desire but it is treated as a PLC.

I'm guessing I'm missing some setting in the symbol itself, but I can't seem to find it.

Does anyone know how to get around this?
