SW2014, win 7, 32GB ram, NVIDIA Quadro M3000M

When creating a cropped view, sometimes the view comes up blank.

When I edit crop, it looks fine. I accept/close the edit, the view shows blank.

I tried ctrl-q, no effect.

Delete the view and immediately ctrl-z, it shows fine for a second or two and then goes blank.

Thoughts?
