Tried to get help from our VAR but the only feedback is to wait for Solidworks to patch this - so thought it might be worth asking if anyone on the forums has experienced & overcome this bug / graphical error.

When we crop a section view, 90% of the time some of the hatches (expecially those with dots) fail as shown below.
In order to comply with our design style, we need to show materials such as walls and stone with dotted patterns like AEC sand.

Can anyone suggest a solution or recommend a better workaround than our VAR? 
(Copy the view, create a detail view, rename the detail to pretend it's a cropped section, hide the section off-sheet)
