Creep with multiple temperatures

Hi all,

I have seen the FAQ with the creep example using:

http://www.fanagalo.co.za/tech/tech_grade_310.htm

Using the same example, instead of just using the 1% strain data at 550C, how would I generate the CT value so I could have temperature results between 550C and 800C and have the curve be valid for 50,000 hours.  I think I tubed my equaltion solving.

In doing so, is it sufficent to consider assuming C2 (the constant associated with the time value) is equal to 1 regardless and simply solve accordingly?

Side question -- the data used in the example is only 1%.  Would it be better to use a higher value closer to failure and allow scaling to solve for lower strains rather than using a low level of strain and extrapolate upwards?  I am working with data that has creep curves (stress vs time plots with isostrain curves sets for 3 different temperatures ) for 2, 3, 5, and 7% strains.

Thanks.

Bart
