I am trying to produce some sheet metal parts in SW12. I am aware that SW will not allow the mirroring of sheet metal parts, so the method i have tried to use is to mirror the surfaces I am modelling for sheet metal, and then treat them as seperate bodies entirely. The issue is that when I convert the original parts to sheet metal all is well, yet when i follow the same process with the mirrored surfaces SW produces unwanted rips automatically (though it doesn't do this in the other parts) and i cannot disable it. Please see the images for a better understanding of my dilema. Note in the first two images how the surfaces can convert with no issues. In the third image i have followed the same process but end up with unwanted rips!
