Hi. I am trying to create a knurling diamond pattern on a curved grip.

I saw a video about how they created the effect by creating a series of lines and connecting the ends alternately to form a zigzag continuous path. They then projected the lines onto the curved surface and used a swept cut to make the V grooves in the part.

I can't find this video again to save my life.

I am unsure of the exact sequence, is the zigzag created before or after projecting onto part?

How is the sketch for the cut setup so it remains normal to the surface as it cuts the part?

Any help or direction to video would be greatly appreciated!
