Creating a symmetric loft quickly and efficiently

I am having trouble creating a symmetric loft for a current project and wanted some advice on how to do it quickly and efficiently. Below are 2 images of my sketches and the completed loft. I found a post on the forum with a similar question where the suggested solution was to copy and past the path where appropriate. I would imagine in my case i would have to create a plane at each corner of my octogon and then copy and past the sketch 8 times, and im pretty confident that this isnt the most efficient way to produce my loft?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance.

All the best

Luke
