Hi All, I am at my wits end trying to solve a way of drawing a coil of product like, a roll of spline or  hose rolled up etc. it must be able to fit an ellipse shape, not just a circle. please, anyone, any ideas?

Thanks again for your help guys, well done. Problem solved by creating a poly line from two intersecting surfaces, then deleting the body of those surfaces.
