Crash while Meshing

Hello all,

I am currently working on a simulation for a large assembly. I have spent much time simplifying the model and am at the point where I am trying to get the assembly to mesh. My plan was to do an overall model mesh and then apply mesh controls as necessary.

My settings for for the initial mesh are as shown:

It typically meshes fine for a while until one part fails, now with my experiences in the past, if a part fails, it continues to try to mesh the rest or says "Hey, this part failed to mesh." At this point, I stop it and go to apply mesh controls.

However, this time, whenever this part fails, a pop-up appears saying, "SOLIDWORKS 2018 has encountered a problem and needs to close." and promptly closes.

Any explanation or work-around?

I just tried to do a Standard Mesh type with the settings slider all the way to the "Coarse" side. and it hasn't crashed.

Thank you in advance.

Edit/Update: I have tried Curvature Based at the finest setting and Blended Curvature Based at the finest setting, and draft quality. Still it crashes. However, when I uses standard mesh type, it does not crash.

Is this a RAM issue maybe? I have nothing else open or running on my computer.
