2020 SP4

SW crashes whenever I try to rename a part from the assembly feature tree.  I "temporarily" rename the part, but when I save the assembly and try to update the "where used" references, SW power crashes... no error or anything, it just dumps.

I have a large assembly and I need to rename all of the parts to part numbers.  I have drawings, subassemblies, etc that all have to be updated.

This needs to work.  Does anyone have any ideas?
