Why is it SO hard to make a simple vertical or horizontal dimension in Solidworks???? Because the "arrow" to select the line
does not even find a line unless it is EXACTLY on the line. The line could have a quarter inch clearance to the next
feature of any kind and the "arrow will not find the line. Was this done to be more efficient??? Now to dimension a simple outline drawing,
just placing the dimensions takes 3 to 4 times longer than it did in release 2012. Inventor can do it just being in the vicinity of the line without
zooming in so close you can see the individual pixcils of the line.
Problem #2: Could you make the "crosshair" to actually draw a line a little smaller??? A 2MM crosshair that almost the same color as the background
and thinner than a human hair, is JUST A LITTLE hard to see on a 27" monitor. Even worse when TRYING to find the center of a .112 dia. drilled hole.
