We just upgraded to 2019 recently, with Windows 7 64-bit. I've had sporadic problems printing from Solidworks to any printer.

Sometimes when I print it returns the error "Could Not Start Print Job".

Other times it appears to work from the Solidworks end, but I look at the printer queue and nothing has been added. I know the issue is with Solidworks, because I can still print from any other application on my computer. The only solutions I have found will fix the problem temporarily, but hours or days later it comes up again.

Things I have tried to solve this:

Restart Solidworks - never works

Restart my computer - tried a few times, has worked once

Reinstall printer drivers - works every time, but only temporarily. I don't think this really has to do with it, though, since printing to ANY printer fails, but reinstalling any ONE driver "fixes" it

Changing default printer (and then printing to the original printer) - works about 1/3 of the time

Switching user accounts/logging off and logging on - works about 1/3 of the time

Save as PDF/Print to PDF and then print from Adobe - Solidworks will also not export to PDF anymore. No error message is given, but the file I try to save never appears.

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone else have any ideas?
