I have a lot of data that seems to have data in the wrong custom property for best practice in workgroup PDM.

So I want to run a routine that will copy "Part No", to Number - for all the files in all the directories and sub directories where my data is.

I'd also like to move the data in  "revision" to another field to preserve our last issue status when a new PDM driven revision scheme is introduced.

Can someone point me toward some info on how to do this.

I am managing 3 seats of Solidworks Professional. I have not yet installed the API, if it is an add in.
