Coping steel channels in weldments

I've got my channel frame weldments, and have used trim/extend to cope all my channels and angles inside the frame.  It looks fine, but it leaves a section of the channel toe, mostly because it trims the channel at the channel. The problem is that isn't what the fabricators end up with when they actually cope the channel. They cut straight down and straight over. Is there a way to show this without having to go back and extruded cut the sliver off of the end of each channel?

Thanks
