I am just getting started with SW 2015 and I am having trouble with flat patterns in sheet metal. In SW 2009 I was able to import solid IGES files and convert them to sheet metal parts and generate flat patterns from these. I have tried a couple of files and they import great to scale however when they flatten they do not yield the correct flat layout. The part shown in the attached picture is 4.63" wide with 0.50" flanges. The flanges came out perfect at the 0.50" height but width struggled to be 4.50" outside dimension. Any light on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
