Good morning all, I know this question has been asked previously, but it has been 7 years, surely something has changed. Essentially what I am trying to do is to take a assembly, and convert it to a 3D DXF file. My end goal, is to take an assembly and convert it to 3D DXF, with only centerlines on the parts of the model, then take that centerline only 3D DXF, and import it into RISA. My company has hundreds of these assemblies that we want converted, so the simpler the process the better. If anyone has any ideas, they would be welcome. I have been racking my brain on this for a while now, and I can get close to what I want with a 2D DXF that I can bring into RISA, but I really want it to be 3D. Thanks all.
