Hello the very helpfull people in solidworks land..

I have a weldment which has within it a mirrored part...

clearly the orriginal idea was that the two sides of the frame where the same..

but now i need to change one side but not the other...

so the original mirrored parts are all interwoven in a higherlevel assembly and so just recreating the new part and breaking the mates is not my first idea..

but open to suggestions...

and i can provide more info if needed..

but i suppose my question boils down to, can i convert a mirrored item in a weldment to a set of standalone parts in the same single weldment and not distroy all my currentl mates..
