Our in-house shop uses an automated press brake. They take our SW files, run it through SheetWorks and then through Dr. Abe software to run the brake. Our man doing this work finds that any of our parts that use convert-to-sheet-metal tend to fail in the process, while parts that start with a sheet-metal-base-flange work fine. This is the case even where the geometry is identical.
Has anyone else seen this sort of problem, with Dr. Abe or other similar software? We send out to have most of our sheet metal made, so I don't want to be sending things that are a problem.
Thanks
Dwight
